How we process data at EMX SERVICES

01. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is EMX SERVICES Sp. z o.o. (“EMX SERVICES”, “we”), an independent provider of on-site technical services across Europe, the United Kingdom and Turkey.

For all matters relating to the protection of personal data, you can contact us at contact@emxservices.com.

02. Scope and purposes of processing

We process the data you provide voluntarily — for example through the contact form or a service request — as well as data collected automatically while you use the site. We process data for the following purposes:

  • responding to enquiries and handling service tickets and requests for quotes,
  • concluding and performing a contract for technical services,
  • maintaining service records and settling accounts,
  • ensuring the security, stability and development of the website.

03. Legal bases

We process data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR). Depending on the situation, the basis for processing is:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps necessary to conclude and perform a contract,
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with the legal obligations to which the controller is subject,
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest, such as handling correspondence and pursuing claims,
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, where it has been given (e.g. for analytics cookies).

04. Cookies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies ensure the site works correctly and do not require consent. We use analytics and functional cookies only after you have given your consent.

You can change your cookie settings in your browser at any time — restricting them may, however, affect how comfortably you can use the site.

05. Retention period

We keep data no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected — for the duration of our cooperation and, after it ends, for the period required by law (including tax and accounting rules) and until the relevant limitation periods for claims expire.

06. Data recipients

Data may be shared with trusted parties that support us in delivering our services — service partners, IT and hosting providers, our accountancy office and legal advisers. These parties process the data solely on our documented instructions.

07. Transfers outside the EEA

Given the reach of our business — covering Europe, the United Kingdom and Turkey — your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. In such cases we ensure the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

08. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your data, you have the following rights:

  • to access your data and obtain a copy of it,
  • to rectify (correct) your data,
  • to erase or restrict processing,
  • to data portability,
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • to withdraw consent at any time — without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal,
  • to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

09. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The current version is always available on this page, together with the date it was last modified.
